Me, Bob, and Sarah had an absolute blast playing Hasbro Gaming Monopoly The Lord of The Rings Edition Board Game! We were totally immersed in the world of Middle-earth, protecting it from the armies of Mordor. But let me tell you, controlling the Ring and getting special powers was no easy feat. The longer you have it, the more dangerous it becomes. Rolling the Eye of Sauron was a nail-biter every time.
We loved playing as our favorite characters from the movie trilogy, like Frodo, Gandalf, and Legolas. It was like having our very own Lord of the Rings action figures as game tokens! And the path to Mount Doom added an extra level of excitement – whoever had the Ring also had to move a Ring Tracker along a line of circles on the gameboard. It was intense trying to reach Mount Doom without losing or giving away the Ring.
I can’t recommend this game enough for family game night or just hanging out with friends. It’s perfect for teens or kids ages 8 and up (although us adults had just as much fun). Plus, it makes for a great birthday or holiday gift for any Lord of the Rings fan. Trust us, this is one of the funnest board games out there – you won’t be disappointed!
