Some companies start in boardrooms. Crescendo Apparel started in a fitting room.

Years ago, I found myself staring at yet another pair of beautiful pants that fit my hips but gaped awkwardly at my waist. The mirror reflected not just the garment’s poor fit, but years of frustration that so many women quietly carry when shopping. Like countless others with curves, I knew the drill: buy big to fit one area, then pay extra for tailoring. It felt like fashion wasn’t made for people like me.

That experience planted a seed. In 2019, Crescendo Apparel was created to solve that problem. Our designs were built for women whose bodies didn’t fit the narrow mold of high fashion’s standards. We focused on fit, balance, and celebrating natural shapes instead of fighting them.

But over time, another pattern began to emerge. Friends, customers, even total strangers would often ask the kind of questions that usually stay unspoken. Should you wear a belt with suspenders? When does a weight belt make sense? Are bucket hats actually good for sun protection? Why Is My Timing Belt Squeaking?Should I Wear A Belt With Suspenders? These weren’t just style choices – they were small uncertainties that affect how we feel in what we wear.

That’s when I realized: people don’t just need clothes that fit, they need clarity. The little things that no one teaches but everyone encounters. Questions that deserve straightforward, honest answers without the overwhelm.

This journey may have started with designing clothes, but along the way, it has grown into something much more helpful. If you’ve ever found yourself wondering about those small but surprisingly tricky clothing and style questions, you’ve landed exactly where you need to be.

Welcome to Crescendo Apparel. Let’s take the guesswork out of fashion, one question at a time.

Andrea Broussard: A Journey Shaped by Fit, Fashion, and Curiosity

Andrea Broussard’s journey into the world of fashion didn’t begin on the runway, but rather in the quiet frustration of countless dressing rooms. With a natural eye for style and a background in fashion merchandising, she spent years studying garment construction and consumer behavior, all while navigating her own struggles finding clothing that fit her proportions.

Recognizing that many women shared the same challenges, she founded Crescendo Apparel in 2019, focusing on designs that honored real body shapes with small waists and full hips.

Beyond design, Andrea’s curiosity has always extended to the practical side of clothing the countless small questions people face every day but rarely voice aloud. Over time, her work evolved into something broader, blending her knowledge of fabrics, fit, and everyday wear into a space where those unspoken curiosities could finally be addressed.
